COMMON QUESTIONS FOR NEW ARRIVALS Where is Hosanna Located and how do I get there? Hosanna A.M.E. church is located in Darlington, MD at 2418 Castleton Road. When does Worship Service begin? We have one worship service on Sunday starting at 11:00 a.m. Church School begins at 10:00 a.m. Are your services contemporary or traditional? Our 11:00 AM worship service is a traditional worship service in our Sanctuary. Our choir and ministerial staff wear robes, and music is hymns and contemporary Gospel music. How should I dress? There is not a dress code at Hosanna A.M.E. Church for members or guests. Our ministry leaders and many of our church family dress in more traditional "Sunday Dress" however, our main goal is that you would feel welcome and comfortable on your visit here at Hosanna. What can I expect as a visitor? During our worship service expect to praise God in song led by one of our many Music Ministries. We want to make sure you feel welcome and simply enjoy yourself during services! Lastly, expect to hear a word from the Lord from our Pastor or Ministerial staff. Am I expected to participate in the offering? We have two offerings the first is our missionary offering where your giving supports our missionary societies. The second is the main offering where your love gift supports the day-to-day workings of the church. We understand that everyone is not able to give and encourage you not to let your current financial circumstances keep you from worshiping and fellowshipping with the Hosanna family. Your presence is a blessing in itself. What ministries or other activities our happening at Hosanna during the week? Hosanna A.M.E. is a busy and active church. Go to the our calendar page where you can find somewhere to fellowship, worship, and let your personal gifts be used by the Lord. |
